One of the easiest meals you can cook at camp is a 30 min Grilled Sesame Chicken. It is easy to prepare and effortless to cook.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 kilo Chicken (about 3 thighs deboned or 2 breasts)
  • 2 cloves of garlic grated
  • 1 finger-sized ginger grated
  • onion chives diced
  • 3/4 cup sesame  oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Grate 2 cloves of garlic and set aside
  2. Grate finger-sized ginger and set aside
  3. Chop the onion chives and set aside
  4. In a small bowl combine the garlic, ginger, and chives
  5. Pour in 3/4 cups of sesame oil (the amount can be fewer or greater – according to your liking)
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. On a small plate, place the chicken and add salt and pepper and let it marinate for 30 mins (you can do this before preparing the sauce).
  8. Grill the chicken on or over the fire for around 15-20 mins or till the chicken is cooked inside
  9. Slice chicken into portions
  10. Pour the sesame sauce on top
  11. Serve and enjoy
