One of the easiest meals you can cook at camp is a 30 min Grilled Sesame Chicken. It is easy to prepare and effortless to cook.
Ingredients
- 1/2 kilo Chicken (about 3 thighs deboned or 2 breasts)
- 2 cloves of garlic grated
- 1 finger-sized ginger grated
- onion chives diced
- 3/4 cup sesame oil
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Grate 2 cloves of garlic and set aside
- Grate finger-sized ginger and set aside
- Chop the onion chives and set aside
- In a small bowl combine the garlic, ginger, and chives
- Pour in 3/4 cups of sesame oil (the amount can be fewer or greater – according to your liking)
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- On a small plate, place the chicken and add salt and pepper and let it marinate for 30 mins (you can do this before preparing the sauce).
- Grill the chicken on or over the fire for around 15-20 mins or till the chicken is cooked inside
- Slice chicken into portions
- Pour the sesame sauce on top
- Serve and enjoy
